The State of Anti-Racism Webinar
To commemorate March 21st, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, we have invited speakers from diverse backgrounds to share and engage in narratives surrounding anti-racism and address the lived realities in which racial discrimination persists.
Collaborators from the booklets 1923: Challenging Racisms Past and Present and Challenging Racist British Columbia, Dr. Timotthy J. Stanley, Dr. Carmen Rodriguez De France, and Dr John Price will join guest panellists Elder Margarita James, Khatira Daryabi, Nina Marie Villa Rodriguez, PCHC-MoM Directors Dr Joann Anokwuru, Vivian Rygnestad, and moderator Stephanie Jiang to offer valuable insights from historical knowledge, personal observations, and experiences within Pacific Canada.
